ServeRx® SmartCart

ServeRx® provides flexible and modular bedside solutions that include the ServeRx® SmartCart. The SmartCart can work seamlessly with your eMAR, barcode-based medication administration and bedside documentation system or use ours. Our bedside solution can use the SmartCart to provide automated medication dispensing and assurance of the Five Rights of Medication Administration at the patient's bedside. The prescribed and pharmacy approved medication can be transferred from the medication cabinet to the patient's specific drawer in the SmartCart. There, when the patient’s barcode is scanned, or patient demographic is otherwise presented, the drawer will then be opened and the medication available to be administered. The ServeRx® software allows the nurse to include any notes documenting the administration. Alternatively, the SmartCart SmartStation SA software package can work alongside your clinical documentation programs. In this mode the SmartCart can be used as a Computer on Wheels while our application works to label drawers for patient storage, controlling the opening and closing of drawers via the touchscreen or the barcode scanner.
